HOGAN

Hogan´s mission is to provide high value-added and consistent absolute returns in Latin American equities, based on fundamental research and proprietary investment processes.

Founded in 2004, formerly known as Victoire Brasil Investimentos, Hogan is fully owned by its executives and 100% focused on a single strategy and a single investment process.

HOGAN ABSOLUTE

The strategy targets consistent positive USD absolute returns in Latin American listed equities, in all market conditions.

The strategy seeks to extract the best Long and Short equity opportunities out of the firm´s research discipline and investment framework targeting absolute returns. Long and Short exposures are built in absolute and/or relative value grauds and are always supported by our forward oriented fundamental research.

PLATFORM

Our Investment Platform, VMQ+ which stands for Value and Momentum within a Quantitative framework, is today a unique proprietary analytical platform that supports every investment decision we take.

The process is continuously refined and enhanced by our investment team, although the basic philosophy has never changed – a combination of value and momentum factors.

Short/mid and long-term factors – we believe to be predictive of future stock returns – are mapped, articulated and ranked.

It enables instant cross-checking of conviction drivers and proper prioritization in validation efforts for “ideas”. It eliminates many of the impediments to efficient decision making.
